South Africa is sending a team of Special Envoys throughout the continent to deliver a message of solidarity to the African Heads of State, following attacks on foreign nationals in the past few weeks.
The team comprising of former minister Jeff Radebe, Dr Khulu Mbatha and Ambassador Kingsley Mamabolo will be going to countries like Nigeria, Senegal, DRC and Zambia among others.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the team will reassure African countries that South Africa is committed to the ideals of Pan African unity. He says the attacks have dented the country’s image abroad..
